MSSU alum Rajindra Campbell wins Bronze Metal in 2024 Olympic Games
MSSU alumnus Rajindra Campbell has won a Bronze Metal in the shotput in the Olympic Games in Paris.
The 6’2′” 290-lb. Campbell is the first ever finalist and award-winner to have attended Missouri Southern State University in Joplin.
Campbell represented his home nation of Jamaica in the games.
His throw of 22.15 meters won the Bronze medal, the first metal ever for an athlete from Jamaica.
He attended Missouri Southern from 2018 to 2021.
His win came on Saturday afternoon, CST.
