Marian Days is underway in Carthage
The Catholic Pilgrimage has descended upon Carthage as Marian Days is underway.
For 46 years, Carthage has hosted the celebration of God through the Catholic faith with an average of more than 50,000 Vietnamese showing up to celebrate.
Marian Days runs Thursday through Sunday at the Congregation of the Mother of the Redeemer located in the south part of Carthage.
If you are interested in joining the celebration, make sure to check out the vendor stalls for shopping as well as food for a real cultural experience.
Carthage Police have announced several road closures including Grand between Highland to Fairview, Highland from Grand to Fulton, Fairview will be closed between Grand to Wynwood and Glenstone Drive in Carthage will be closed during the celebration.
Hotels from Joplin to Springfield and the surrounding area are usually full with others camping on the Marian Days site.
