Drug arrest in Cherokee County Kansas
A woman from Galena, Kansas, is facing several charges after a large amount of meth was seized Wednesday morning.
The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office says they, along with the Ozark Drug Enforcement Team and Galena Police Department served a narcotics search warrant at 412 Washington Street.
Cherokee County joined ODET after the first of the year and have currently been working several joint investigations. The warrant execution in Galena was the result of one of the joint investigations currently being conducted.
28-year-old Sabrina LaTurner was arrested and is facing the following charges: Distribution of a Controlled Substance within 1000 feet of a School, Possession of Meth, Possession of Paraphernalia, Possession of Felony, Paraphernalia and Possession of Marijuana.
These Charges are currently pending with the Cherokee County Prosecutors Office.
