Motorcycle accident injures man from Neosho

A man from Neosho was injured in an accident at Route NN and Holly Road, 5.5 miles south of Joplin around 8:44 Saturday night.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident happened when an eastbound 2023 Qipai QP motorcycle operated by 35-year-old Anthony R. Adams of Neosho.

The Patrols says the accident occurred when Adams applied his brakes and the motorcycle overturned, ejecting him.

Adams, who was not wearing a safety device, suffered moderate injuries.

He was transported by ambulance to Mercy Joplin hospital.
