Joplin bus station stabbing suspect identified, charges filed
Authorities have identified the suspect wanted for allegedly stabbing an 18-year-old at the Joplin Greyhound Bus Station in January.
47-year-old David L. Bostic, of Bellevue, Washington, is charged with first-degree assault.
Authorities say he has ties to multiple states including Missouri, Utah, Washington, Arkansas and New York.
If anyone has information about Bostic’s whereabouts, contact the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office or your local Law Enforcement agency immediately.
Bostic has a history of violence and is considered armed and dangerous. Do not approach him.
On January 11, 2024, at approximately 8:45 PM, Jasper County deputies responded to an assault call at the bus station near 7th Street and Highway 249.
Upon arrival, deputies contacted an 18-year-old male from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma with severe injuries to his neck.
The male was transported to a local hospital in stable condition with a stab wound to his neck. He was treated and then released six days later.
