Fayetteville Deputy Chief of Police arrested on alleged DWI, other charges

The Fayetteville, Arkansas Deputy Chief of Police was arrested on a DWI and other charges late Wednesday night.
That’s according to a news release posted on the Fayetteville Police Department’s Facebook site.
A pickup truck Deputy Chief Bradley Renfro was stopped by Arkansas State Police around 10:41 p.m.
Renfro was arrested for suspected DWI, Failure to Submit to a Chemical Test and Defective Headlight.
Renfro has worked as a Fayetteville Police Officer since 1996 and was named Deputy Chief last December.
He’s been placed on administrative leave pending the results of an internal investigation.
