Motorcycle accident kills man from Anderson

There was a fatal motorcycle accident in McDonald County around 12:30 Thursday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports it happened on Missouri 90 about 2 and one-half miles west of Jane.

The Patrol says a westbound motorcycle operated by 73-year-old William D. Leach of Anderson traveled off the right side of the roadway, overturned and struck a road sign.

Leach was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
