Joplin – attracting visitors and tourist

Joplin has a lot of things going for it to attract visitors and tourist.

Joplin Convention and Visitor Bureau Director Patrick Tuttle told Newstalk KZRG: 

“I’ll put our hospitality scene against anybody in the country.  I mean our hotel front desk, our waitresses and greeters in the restaurants, great hospitality in the area.  And once people get here, they really see what Joplin is all about.  We focus on our history all the way from the civil war, even the tornado.  We talk about our manufacturing, our agriculture.  There are a lot of things we work with beyond Route 66.”
