Joplin Mayor thinks it’s likely large project will go through

At Monday night’s Joplin City Council meeting, there will be a review of the $375 million dollar Prospect Village Proposal.  

Newstalk KZRG asked Mayor Keenan Cortez, what is the likelihood that something like this will actually happen?

“I think it is 100%.  I think we are moving forward with all intentions of developing this.  I think we need it in this community and is wanted,  I believe we can make it happen”

This is the largest proposed project in Joplin since the 2011 tornado.
