The Oklahoma Senate has refused to hear a bill session named after two teens from Welch who were murdered in 1999.

The proposed measure, called “Lauria and Ashley’s Law” would have required anyone convicted of being an accessoruy to murder to serve at least 85 percent of their sentence.

The bill is named after Lauria Bible and Ashley Freeman, who disappeared 25 years ago.

Ronnie Dale Busick was sentenced as an accessory but was released from prison on good behavior after serving less than two and a half years behind bars.
