MSSU Choral Society sets Spring concert for May 5

The MSSU Choral Society will perform its annual Spring Concert on Sunday, May 5, at 3:00 p.m. at the First Community Church, 2007 E 15th St, in Joplin.

The concert includes several selections to delight the audience, including familiar spirituals, gospel music, and a medley of songs from the beloved Les Miserables (Le Miz).

The chorus of 60 voices is under the direction of Melissa Belk and Clint Newby is the accompanist.

The event is free, and donations will be gratefully accepted.
