 Two from Neosho to be honored as local heroes

Neosho, Missouri – The City of Neosho will be recognizing two exemplary residents for their heroic actions in rendering aid during a medical emergency of another resident. The Neosho City Council will honor these residents during the upcoming Council meeting on April 16, 2024. 

On Saturday, April 6, two residents displayed remarkable courage and compassion when they rushed to the aid of a fellow resident experiencing a medical emergency. Their quick thinking, decisive action, and selflessness were instrumental in providing vital assistance during a critical moment. 

“We are incredibly grateful for the bravery and compassion shown during this emergency,” said David Kennedy, City Manager. “Their willingness to step up and assist a neighbor in need exemplifies the spirit of community and care that defines our city.”

In recognition of their extraordinary actions, the City Council will present a proclamation during the upcoming Council meeting. The ceremony will be a moment to celebrate their courage and honor their commitment to the well-being of their fellow residents.

The Neosho community and media are invited to join in expressing gratitude and admiration for these residents and their outstanding demonstration of kindness and heroism.
