Today is municipal election day in Missouri
Missouri voters will decide on a variety of issues, including city council, mayoral and school board races, bond issues, a senior citizen property tax freeze, and marijuana taxes.
To cast a ballot, Missouri law requires voters to show an acceptable photo ID, such as a valid driver’s license, military ID, or passport.
If not, voters can cast a provisional ballot, which will only be counted if the voters return the same day with an ID and if an election worker can verify the signature.
Polls are open statewide from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
