Celebrate Joplin’s birthday at History and Mineral Museum

What better way to celebrate Joplin’s birthday than by taking in little history at the same time?

The Joplin History and Mineral Museum is celebrating Joplin’s birthday from noon to 5 p.m. today with free admission being offered. 

Joplin was incorporated as a city by the state of Missouri on march 23, 1873.

Patrons are encouraged to come celebrate Joplin’s birthday with cupcakes and punch as well as new displays to view.
