Vehicle search results in potential charges for a man in Parsons
There was a bust in Parsons on Saturday.
It happened when a police officer Blake Sanchez identified William Earl Troester Jr., who has active felony warrants out of Labette County.
When Troester saw the officer, he walked away from a vehicle.
A police K-9 search indicated the presence of narcotics. A subsequent search revealed 75 grams of methamphetamines and 20 Xanax pills, along with digital scales and more paraphernalia.
Troester was taken to the Parsons Jail. Charges for distribution of narcotics; possession of a Controlled Substance; possession of drug paraphernalia; and possession of narcotics are being recommended to the Labette County Prosecutor.
Troester is also being held on a Labette County Warrant for failure to appear.
