Three arrested during drug raid in Baxter Springs

Three arrests have been made after the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and Baxter Springs Police Department executed a search warrant in Baxter earlier today.

Just after 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 18, 2024, the warrant was served in the 2400 block on Lincoln Avenue.

The search warrant stems from an investigation into hunting equipment being stolen outside of Baxter Springs in late February.

While searching the residence, investigators recovered the stolen property and located suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Arrested at the scene were 62-year-old Timothy Putnam, 57-year-old Andrew Putnam and Dallas Kinnaird, age 46.

Timothy Putnam is being held in the Cherokee County Jail on allegations of Possessing Stolen Property, Possessing Methamphetamine and Possessing Drug Paraphernalia.

Andrew Putnam is being held in the Cherokee County Jail on allegations of Possessing Methamphetamine and Drug Paraphernalia.

Dallas Kinnaird is being held in the Cherokee County Jail on allegations of Theft.
