Fatal crash in Carthage claims life of Nevada man

A man from Nevada, Missouri, was killed in a one-vehicle accident early Thursday morning.

Carthage Police say 29-year-old Andrew Corriston was going east on Highway 171, when he struck the traffic signal pole at the intersection of I-49.

Corriston was pronounced dead on scene.

No one else was injured. That accident happened just after 5am.
