Music on the Lake at Crawford State Park: 2024 schedule

FARLINGTON, Kan. – Since 2018 musicians from across the region have performed Spring through Fall overlooking the lake at Crawford State Park, located between Girard and Fort Scott. Every Friday evening starting at 6 p.m., from May through September, musicians perform for tips only. While some perform on a café patio, many perform from a deck with the lake as a backdrop.
This music series is organized by Friends of Crawford State Park, with all tips going to the performer. Attendees are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs, and arrive early.
2024 Music on the Lake at Crawford State Park (all are Friday’s unless noted otherwise, with a 6 p.m. start):
May 3 – Johnny Joe Zibert & George Barberich; May 10 – John Duling & Sean McDonnell; May 17 – Jeff Culver & Zac Parrish; May 24 – D.J. Brown & the Bourbon County Revival; and, May 31 – Shana Stone & friends.
June 7 – CDL Trio; June 14 – No Bad Vibes (formerly known as Ridgerunnerz); June 21 – Dustin Treiber; and, June 28 – J3 Band (4-piece).
Tuesday, July 2 – Stone Country – a special live performance in conjunction with the Old Fashioned Independence Day Celebration and Lake Blast fireworks display.
July 5 – Martin & the Dead Guys; Saturday, July 6 – Larry & his Sax; July 12 – Wayward Bettys; July 19 – D.J. Brown & the Bourbon County Revival; and, July 26 – J3 Band (full band).
August 2 – The Fun Club (30s & 40s jazz); August 9 – Leeper & Simpson (Scott L. & Jeff S.); August 16 – Joey & Johnny; August 23 – Curtis Benelli (karaoke); and, August 30 – Double Trouble (Larry Davenport & Mark Ward).
September 6 – Jason Richison & Rick Cook; September 13 – Johnny Joe Zibert & George Barberich; September 20 – Allen Ross; and, September 27 – Dan Duling & Friends.

Lake View Café is located inside Crawford State Park, 1 West Lake Road, Farlington, Kansas, overlooking the northwest end of Lake Crawford Fishing Lake, better known to locals as Farlington Lake. Crawford State Park is along KS-7 between Girard and Fort Scott.
