Jasper County Coroner resigns; Deputy Coroner sworn in

Jasper County Cororner Randy Nace reportedly has turned in his resignation.

Reports say resignation is due to his taking a new job with Freeman Health System.

Deputy Coroner James Harrison reportedly has been sworn in as the new coroner.

Harrison has filed as a candidate for the position.

His name will be on the ballot this fall.

No one else has filed.
