Jasper County Deputies investigating stabbing death

At 5 p.m. on March 2, Jasper County Deputies were called to an address near 7th street and State Line Ave, regarding an assault that had just occurred.

The male victim was transported to a local hospital with severe injuries from an apparent stabbing. The male was taken into surgery but later died from his injuries.

The victim was identified as 36-year- old Seth R. Langford, of Carl Junction. Jasper County Detectives are actively working this case and more information will be released as it becomes available.

Detectives are currently looking for two people that are persons of interest, Scott B. Burleson, 30, of Wyandotte, Oklahoma, and Paul D. Phillips, 36, Seneca.
