Purdy woman suffers serious injuries in accident

A 56-year-old Purdy woman was seriously injured in a two-person crash on Thursday.

On Thursday, 43-year-old Sara Winzer, of Purdy, failed to yield at an intersection on Farm Road 2070 a half a mile west of Purdy in her 1990 Ford F 450 and was struck by 56-year-old Charmain Wiggers, of Purdy, in a 1990 Buick LaSabre.

Wiggers suffered serious injuries and was transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
