Dr. Seuss’ Cat in the Hat to visit Freeman Learning Center
Dr. Seuss once said: “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.”
Well, one of everyone’s favorite felines — The Cat in the Hat from Ozarks Public Televisions’ PBS Kids — is coming to the Freeman Learning Center at 10 a.m. on Thursday.
He will be joined by Freeman President and Chief Executive Officer Paula Baker, Chief Financial Officer Steve Graddy, and Freeman Cardiologist Dr. Ryan Longnecker to read from three Dr. Seuss classics for the Freeman and Cat in the Hat reading event.
The event is organized by Freeman Health System and Ozarks Public Television to help promote reading skills and develop the kids’ love of reading – a key fundamental when it comes to overall learning
