Joplin motorcyclist crashes on Missouri 86 near Newtonia; only minor injuries reported

There were only minor injuries to a motorcyclist from Joplin after a crash on Missouri 86 at Newtonia.

It happened just after 1 Sunday afternoon.

The Highway Patrol says 63-year-old Kenneth D. Ingle was attempting to make a left turn and lost control of his cycle.

He was wearing a safety helmet.
