Missouri town halls planned to hear about challenges facing older citizens
Town halls across Missouri are planned to get feedback about the challenges faced by the older population.
Missouri has more than 1-point-1 million residents over the age of 60.
Estimates suggest that older adults will outnumber minors for the first time by 2030.
To help address the needs of older adults, Missouri is holding town halls to hear about their challenges.
The public meetings will be February 26 through March 8 in Jefferson City, Warrensburg, St. Joseph, Monroe City, Kansas City, the St. Louis area, Cape Girardeau, Springfield, and Joplin.
Two virtual town halls will be held on March 21.
