Southern MO soldier’s remains identified
A Missouri Korean War soldier’s remains have been identified.
24-year-old U.S. Army Corporal Charles Patten, of southern Missouri’s Lebanon, went missing during battle in 1950 and was presumed dead three years later.
A U.S. military agency identified his remains.
A news release says Patten will be buried in Lawson, near Kansas City, at a later date.
