Kansas City Chiefs to host Super Bowl victory parade
Looking for a romantic way to spend Valentine’s Day? How about celebrating with the Kansas City Chiefs?
Fresh off their 25-22 victory over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday in Super Bowl 58, the Kansas City Chiefs will be holding a victory parade for a second time in as many years on Wednesday, February 14.
The victory parade will begin on Grand Boulevard and 6th street before heading south to Pershing. The parade will then turn west on Pershing and head to Union Station to wrap up with a victory rally on stage. There will be viewing opportunities on the north lawn on the National WWI Museum and Memorial.
The budget for this year’s parade, approved by the Kansas City City Council, is allowing the Greater Kansas City Sports Commission to spend up to $975,000, a $200,000 increase in last year’s budget.
