Clothing Donations Needed For “Dress To Impress” Event at Missouri Southern 

The 10th annual “Dress to Impress” event is coming to Billingsly Student Center’s Connor Ballroom. In preparation for the occasion, the public can donate gently used men’s and women’s  professional attire to help students enhance their professional wardrobe. Donations can be taken to the Spiva Library Room 413, at Missouri Southern State University, from now until Monday, February 28th. 

The public can help in several different ways. There’s a special need for medium and large sizes, which ran out last year. And jewelry and shoes are also important since those items can be costly for students. Another option is a monetary donation. Last year, donated money was used to purchase gift cards that were given to the students. And the public can donate their time as a volunteer shopper, which provides an excellent opportunity for mentoring and coaching.
