Could I-44 be next on the infrastructure agenda for Gov. Parson?

One of Governor Mike Parson’s top priorities has been infrastructure. 

During his time as governor, 250 bridges in poor condition have been repaired or replaced and he has led the charge to widen Interstate 70. 

Governor Parson says that I-44 could be next:

 “I would tell you that I think you’re going to find out there’ll be some more major additions in the State of the State when we’ll be talking about infrastructure and other major roads across the state.” 

While the Show-Me State is preparing to expand I-70 from St. Louis to Kansas City, the Missouri Farm Bureau began campaigning for the widening of I-44 from St. Louis to Joplin as well.
