Joplin City Council to meet Tuesday night
The Joplin City Council will meet Tuesday night – a day later than usual due to the New Year’s Day holiday.
In reviewing items on the agenda, the council is expected to approve an agreement between the city and the Economic Security Corporation pertaining to 2023 CDBG public service grants.
The Council also will be asked to approve an agreement with with the Homeless Coalition pertaining to those grant funds.
Council members will be asked to approve the purchase of new transit scheduling software for MAPS Transit and the Sunshine Lamp Trolley.
The meeting gets underway at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers in City Hal at 602 S. Main Street.
