Single-vehicle crash near Springfield takes life of driver

An accident on Farm Road 102 west of Farm Road 151 just north of Springfield has taken the life of a man from Springfield.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 40-year-old Jeremy L. Moore of Springfield was killed when his eastbound Ford F250 pickup traveled off the right side of the roadway at a bridge and struck a concrete support just before 10:30 Friday night.

He was pronounced dead at a Springfield hospital.
