Berry resigns as principal of Miami’s Wilson Early Childhood Center

Andrea Berry has turned in her resignation as principal of the Wilson Early Childhood Center.

That’s after an executive session of the Miami Public Schools Board of education that lasted almost three hours.

Berry  was suspended in early December. However, the reason for that action was not revealed by the Board.

Just over two weeks ago, the suspension was the subject of a Board of Education meeting that drew an overflow crowd of supporters and interested individuals.

Berry has worked in public education for 28 years and was principal at Rockdale Elementary before moving to Wilson Early Childhood Center in February 2022.
