Road work west of Nevada leaves parts of Route KK closed

Starting Tuesday, December 19th going through Thursday, December 22nd road work on route KK west of Nevada will be conducted between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm.

MoDOT is replacing damaged pipes underneath three parts of the road way.

On Tuesday, December 19 crews will be working between County Road 400 and County Road 50. On Wednesday, December 20 they will be working between County Road 500 and County Road 600. Then on Friday, December 22 they will replace pipes between County Road 900 and County Road 1000.

During this three day period Route KK will be closed where crews are working. Drivers will have access to driveways and entrances on either end of the work zone but will not be able to travel through the work zone. If this is one your daily route MoDOT recommends you find alternate routes.
