Woman from Lamar injured in one-car accident

A woman from Lamar injured in an accident on Missouri 97, five miles west of Miller just before 5 p.m. on Saturday.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when an northbound Suzuki SUV driven by 75-year-old Deborah K. Kistner went off the right side of the roadway and hit a utility pole.

Kistner suffered moderate injuries.

She was transported to a Joplin hospital.
