Buc-ee’s to open Monday in Springfield

It all starts Monday:  The new, huge Buc-ee’s in Springfield will open to the public at 6 a.m.

The store is located off I-44, north of Springfield.

The 53,000 square foot travel center will have 120 fueling opportunities..

Buc-ee’s, based in Texas, has established some ground rules for those wanting early access.

They will not allow tents or other structures to be put up outside the store. However, the store will let potential customers gather outside the structure.

Also, drivers on I-44 in that area may notice extra-heavy traffic during the morning hours, especially on the first day.
