Joplin to host a public meeting regarding neon signs in city’s historic downtown district

A Public Meeting to discuss proposed changes to the City of Joplin’s downtown historic design guidelines will be held on Tuesday, December 12. Joplin Historic Preservation Commission members and City staff seek input from citizens relating to proposed code changes to permit neon signs in Joplin’s historic downtown district.

Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting. It will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 530 S. Main Street.
