Joplin Health Department to offer basic life support course

The Joplin Health Department is holding a HeartCode® BLS Skills Check-off. This course will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Joplin Public Library. This class is appropriate for those who have completed the HeartCode® BLS online course. The cost for this class is $20 a person.

Register for these and future CPR classes online, under “Adult Programs”. Upcoming classes in 2024 include January 18, February 21 and March 21.

Preregistration and pre-payment are required to attend either of these classes. Participants can complete these steps by going to the Joplin Parks registration website of their online catalog. Classes are listed under the Adult Programs division of the registration site.
