Missouri Lt. Gov returns from leading his first international trade mission

Missouri Lieutenant Governor Mike Kehoe recently wrapped up his first-ever international trade mission.

He and other Missouri leaders spent several days in Germany this month meeting with business and government leaders and negotiating deals to expand Missouri’s footprint there.

Those meetings included efforts to get Lufthansa Airlines to expand the number of flights between Germany and Missouri:

Kehoe said:  “They have three flights, direct from Frankfurt to St. Louis. And as we enter into the World Cup on the Kansas City side in 2026, we certainly wanted to make sure they are aware of what that activity was all about – the international community being able to come together for a couple of months for the World Cup.”

As for why he led the trade mission and not Governor Mike Parson, Kehoe says the governor had just wrapped up a trade mission to Japan last month.
