Final 2024 Joplin Memorial Run May 17th and 18th

The 2024 Joplin Memorial Run will be the final memorial run for presenters Active Lifestyle Events.  

Part of the reason is because of declining numbers of runners.  

According to the run director, Ruth Sawkins:  “When our numbers go down, that is really our biggest impact on our revenue because that is really we get the biggest source of our funds.  While our fixed costs are not changing, yet our incoming revenues are going down, that is where we get in a pickle.”

The event will be May 17th and 18th 2024.  The final Memorial run will start again near Memorial Hall in downtown Joplin.
