Car hits deer, leaves road and overturns; two injured
Two men were injured in a crash caused by a deer late Monday night.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says it happened around 11:30 p.m. when a 2015 Buick Verano driven by 20-year-old Gage M. Blevins of Forsyth was driving on Route K about 6 miles east of Jasper.
The car struck a deer, ran off the roadway and overturned.
Blevins had minor injuries. A passenger,18-year-old Paul R. Walker of Rogersville, had moderate injuries.
They were taken to a Joplin hospital for treatment.
