Twelve women chosen for Women of Distinction calendar

The Pittsburg Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the honorees for the 2024 Women of Distinction Community Calendar.

The Women of Distinction Community Calendar honors twelve area women who lead by example in donating their time and talents to benefit the Pittsburg area.

“The chamber is proud to honor these twelve exceptional women who devote an incredible amount of time and energy in the service of our community,” said Chamber Board Chairwoman Lindsay Smith.

“The calendar provides the perfect opportunity for the community to show our gratitude, say thank you, and to celebrate everything these women do for the Pittsburg area.”

The 2024 honorees are:

Mandy Arck – Pittsburg Community Schools
Kay Dunbar – HIX Corporation
Jenny Ehling – The Family Resource Center
Dr. Cheryl Giefer – Pittsburg State University
Leah Gagnon – Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas
Kaylyn Hite – The Fleming Law Firm, LLC
Cheryle Moore – Shelter Insurance/Cheryl Moore Agency
Angela Neria – Pittsburg State University
Rachael Peterson – Watco
Katherine Pinto – K-State Research and Extension
La’Mour Romine – Pittsburg Police Department
Janelle Wade – Ascension/Via Christi Hospital – Pittsburg

Calendars will be available, free of charge, beginning Friday, December 1, at the Pittsburg Area Chamber office, 117 W. 4th Street in Pittsburg.

The chamber will honor the 2024 Women of Distinction, along with the Kaye Lynne Webb Award winner, at the Women in Business breakfast event on Friday, December 1, in the Pittsburg State University Overman Student Center.
