Sentence handed down for former Frontenac resident

A sentence was handed down earlier this week for 55-year-old Michael S. Green, formerly of Frontenac, Kansas.

Green was convicted in August of this year of aggravated indecent liberties with a child, a severity level 4 person felony.

He was sentenced on Monday to 43 months in the Kansas Department of Corrections.

After serving his sentence, Green will be on post-release supervision and will be required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.

The incident, which occurred on January 5, 2021, was investigated by the Frontenac Police Department.
