Noel man given prison sentence for attempted rape of child

A man from Noel, Missouri, has been given a 15-year prison sentence after he admitted to trying to sexually assault a family member under 14 years old.

The Noel’s Marshal’s Office says 60-year-old Gregory Elmore was convicted of attempted statutory rape.

He was arrested in July of 2022 and has spent more than a year in jail and will be credited with time served.
