Fire in unoccupied apartments in Neosho extinguished quickly

There was a fire in a Neosho apartment building this morning (Monday).

Firefighters reportedly found flames coming from both the back and front of the structure, which contained four apartments, at 707 West McCord Street around 11 a.m.

The apartments were not occupied.

Luckily it only took firefighters a few minutes to put the fire out.

The cause is under investigation.
