Missouri adds testing option for people who want to get high school diploma
Missouri has added a testing option for people who want to get their high school diploma.
Megan Wadley, with the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, says the state now offers two options – the GED test and the HiSET test.
“So the difference in the amount of sub tests varies a little bit,” says Wadley. “There’s one additional sub test for the HiSET but the subject areas cover the same content and they’re the same things that you would learn in high school at a secondary level.”
The department provides free virtual and face-to-face classroom instruction and testing preparation, with that information available at ael.mo.gov. Both tests are offered online and in-person.
