First Lady Jill Biden visits Truman Presidential Library in Kansas City

“First Lady Jill Biden visited the Kansas City area on Wednesday. 

She was at the Truman Presidential Library and Museum in Independence supporting civics education. 

She got to visit with who stepped into the role of President Truman and his advisors at the White House Decision Center, a museum set piece that recreates the West Wing where students get to learn how to tackle the challenges a world leader must face. 

There, the first lady encouraged the students to consider a career in politics.

She also paid respects at the gravesite of President Truman and First Lady Bess.
