Turkey hunters needed for hunting regulation changes

Changes could be coming up for turkey hunters. 

The Missouri Department of Conservation wants input from turkey hunters on spring and fall wild turkey hunting seasons. 

Potential changes include all-day spring hunting and reduced harvest limits for fall seasons. 

The current spring season structure has resulted in low harvest rates on juvenile and adult gobblers over the years. 

Possible changes to fall turkey hunting regulations aim to balance the population’s wellbeing and maximize hunting opportunities.
