Sunday morning accident sends cycle rider to hospital

A motorcycle accident just before 8:30 Sunday morning resulted in injuries to a man from Grove Sunday afternoon on I-49 about a mile west of Neosho.

The Highway Patrol says a 2007 Suzuki GSX1000-R operated by 22-year-old Dylan C. Villaneueve of Grove was traveling at a high speed when it went out of control and overturned.

Villaneueve suffered moderate injuries.

He was taken by ambulance to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin
