Sheriff’s office probing burglary at Cooky’s in Golden City

The Barton County Sheriff’s office is probing a burglary earlier this month a a popular local eating spot.

On September 8, deputies responded to Cooky’s Café in Golden City, Mo for a report of a burglary that had occurred in the overnight hours.

One of the items taken was a small safe that contained an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is believed to be from the area based upon information received up to this point. It appears the suspect is approximately 5’7”, 185-200lbs.
