Delta Dental and CFO partner on $130,000 grant program for rural children
The Community Foundation of the Ozarks, with support from Delta Dental of Missouri, is launching a new $130,000 grant program to improve dental health for children attending rural schools.
Nonprofits that provide dental services to children can apply for up to $10,000 from the Delta Dental Rural Youth Program. Eligible organizations that serve K-12 students outside of the Springfield Public Schools district, but within the CFO’s service area of central and southern Missouri, are encouraged to apply. Partnerships between schools and nonprofits that provide dental services to children are also encouraged.
Agencies can begin the application process at cfozarks.org/applyforgrants. The deadline to apply is Friday, Oct. 13, with grant recipients to be announced in November.
Delta Dental of Missouri contributed $100,000 for the grant program, which was supplemented by $30,000 from the CFO’s unrestricted grantmaking funds.
