Many Missourians expected to hit the road for Labor Day weekend

The long weekend is considered the unofficial end to summer, which means the Lake of the Ozarks will likely be crawling with visitors.  

AAA auto club says booking data for flights, hotels, rental cars, and cruises shows Labor Day weekend travel is higher than last year. 

According to AAA, drivers taking road trips will likely see gas prices similar to last year. 

Today’s average gas price in Missouri is 3.49 a gallon, while the national average is 3.82 a gallon.
